Pre Production – Camps & Workshops

Camps & Workshops

Camps & Workshops

Good films are the direct result of good ideas, good planning and good preparation. During the pre-production phase of camp participants learn about film terms, acting, how to operate the cameras, lighting, script writing and genres. Camp Createability provides three types of pre production programs.  We have camps, workshops and our NEW Digital Media Training program.  The camps provide a basic introduction covering all aspects of digital moviemaking, from initial concept to finished film.  The participant’s filmmaking projects require careful planning and organization.  Our workshops offer a variety of topics related to filmmaking, screenwriting, editing, animation and more.  The small classes ensure personal attention and encourage group collaboration in all facets of the class.  Our Full and Part-time Digital Media Training program provides instruction in visual effects, digital animation, filmmaking, editing, work readiness and more to prepare this underserved group of individuals for lifelong careers.  Our training program offers a critical connection between high school and meaningful employment by building on the abilities and strengths of these individuals.  We also offer private tutoring.

For those who do not have disabilities or are not on the spectrum we also have our after-school film program that is open to all students grades 3 – 12.
